This 2011 Porsche Cayman coupe is finished in Black over Full Natural Leather in Carrera Red and powered by a 2.9-liter flat-six mated to a 6-speed manual transaxle rapidly propelling this rear wheel drive sports car. This lightweight car is one of the last classic examples of hydraulic steering and brakes with a manual transmission. The car was leased new from Porsche of Naples, Florida and resided between Louisiana and Florida throughout its lifetime. The 987.2 was acquired by the current owner in December 2020 and shows 119k miles. It is offered with a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in hand.
The exterior is finished in Black, and the condition of the paintwork and trim is shown up close in the gallery below. The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage. Blemishes include one on the passenger seat, minimal wear and tear, and small chips on the nose and door sills, although it was resprayed by a previous owner.
Aftermarket Flow Formed SM-10 - APEX Race Parts wheels in race silver (18x9" and 18x10") wear Michelin PS4S tires (255/35 & 285/35) which were added 8 months ago and have less than 700 miles. The original 17" Porsche wheels are also included. New larger brakes with slotted rotors were added, stainless steel brake lines, GT3 ducts, new aggressive Ferodo brake pads and fluid flush were completed recently. Again, original pads and rotors are included.
Full Natural Leather in Carrera Red covers all seats and surfaces. A Rennline wireless and magnetic charger has been added allowing for ease of use while on the go.
The 2.9-liter flat-six provides the perfect combination of reliability (no IMS bearing and no DFI!) and power, paired with an engaging 6-speed manual gearbox. Power was quoted at 265 horsepower and 221 lb-ft of torque when new, and with only 2,900 lbs the Cayman provides thrilling perfomance and handling. Regular services were performed at German specialty shops in South Florida (TuneRS), where the car was maintained from the current owner's purchase according to the Carfax report and documented receipts.
The recent Carfax report shows an accident-free history, and documented service visits up through 2021. An October 2019 service included installation of four new struts and aftermarket door speakers in the factory locations by a previous owner. Recent maintenance includes inspection, oil change, air and cabin filters, window regulator, sport alignment, addition of third radiator kit. In addition, new window tint and replacement of many factory exterior plastic such as window cowl, front crest emblem and rear lettering, fuel cap have been replaced.

A copy of the dealer build sheet lists options, standard equipment, and a 2011 MSRP of $56,430. A collection of receipts are included in the sale along with one functioning key. There are no liens on this car and title is in hand.
Reason for selling - I picked up a stunning 487-mile 2019 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport earlier this summer.
